Blythe Daniel, President

As president of The Blythe Daniel Agency, Inc., Blythe works with clients in a variety of ways. She creates timely media messages, develops and executes publicity and marketing campaigns, and sets up national interviews and articles for her clients.

She also represents authors to publishers as a literary agent in both the Christian and general market. She helps authors develop their brand and book concepts.

With 16 years of experience, Blythe’s expertise lies in publicizing the works of inspirational-based authors and self-help, home and lifestyle books. She has developed relationships with hundreds of media outlets, including The Today ShowGood Morning America,DatelineFox NewsThe G. Gordon Liddy ShowThe 700 ClubLife Today With James RobisonFamilyNet TelevisionJanet Parshall’s AmericaAmerican Family Radio, and USA Radio Network among others.

Previously, Blythe worked as Public Relations/News Director for WNAZ-FM in Nashville, Tennessee where she was a news reporter and writer and producer/host of two weekly radio programs. She has been an independent publicist and freelance writer for Christian and country music artists, and trade and consumer magazines and newspapers. Blythe spent 7 years working at Thomas Nelson, Inc. as Publicity Director and then Marketing Director in the Bible and Book divisions where she directed hundreds of publicity campaigns and marketing campaigns.

She left Nashville in 2004 to move to Colorado and opened her agency in 2005. She has worked with publicity clients like Brother Andrew and Open Doors International, International Bible Society, NavPress, Thomas Nelson, Penguin/Putnam, Baker Books, WaterBrook Press, Standard Publishing, New Life Church, and individual authors. During her time at Thomas Nelson and since she opened her agency, she has worked on publicity campaigns for John Maxwell, Kim Alexis, Reggie White, John and Patsy Ramsey, John Hagee, John Eldredge, Charles Stanley, Steve Arterburn, Dennis Rainey, Sheila Walsh, and Vonette Bright, among others.

She has been the Product Development Manager for Ransomed Heart Ministries founded by New York Times bestselling author John Eldredge.

Blythe has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication from Auburn University with a minor in Journalism. She lives in Colorado Springs with her husband and three children.

Jessica Kirkland, Marketing and Literary Agent

Jessica is a very gifted and personable communicator and joined The Blythe Daniel Agency, Inc. as Marketing and Literary Agent. Jessica is acquiring and representing adult fiction, young adult fiction, and some non-fiction. She has acquired 3 Genesis Contest Finalists from the ACFW Genesis Contest and has acquired some notable bloggers.

She brings a lot of creative energy and innovative thinking in the publishing field as well as social media where she coaches authors in how to effectively use Facebook and Twitter. With her skills in finding good talent she will continue to help launch authors through ourliterary and marketing efforts. She has a strong background in sales, which has led to successful sales and positioning of our authors.

Jessica is the CEO of Christian Apps For Kids, LLC. She graduated Cum Laude in 2004, with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and a minor in Marketing, from Sam Houston State University. One of Jessica’s greatest passions is helping children find truth and freedom through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jessica enjoys bringing quality book apps to the Christian marketplace thatteach character and help children learn God’s word.

Jessica is a mentor and writer to mother’s at The Mom Initiative and her own website, www.iliveloud.net, where she encourages readers to look beyond the veil of their circumstances and believe that God sees them and cares about every detail of their lives. Jessica lives near Houston, Texas with her husband, Robb, and 6-year-old triplets.
